Welcome back readers!
With this update, we start a new house- The Mayfield, home of Cornelius and Athena May. (You like the name? Me too, It’s a play on MAY, their last name, HAHA!) I crack myself up. :D
In the last update, Cornelius and Athena had finally gotten married after misunderstandings got in the way of their relationship. Now, will they be able to follow their dreams of being rich and starting a family?
As Cornelius looked at himself in the mirror, he smiled. He was finally able to dress how he always wanted to- showing that he was wealthy, but not ostentatious. It was wonderful to follow your dreams, he thought. He was now a Lawyer, and he loved it. He couldn’t wait until he was The Law.
His reverie was interrupted by a piercing scream from below. He knew that with Athena in her final Trimester she could pop at any minute, but he didn’t expect it to be so soon.
Within moments he was in the living room, watching his wife give birth. She was so beautiful, he couldn’t believe he’d gotten so lucky…
“OWWWW!”
Within moments, Athena had a brown haired, blue eyed girl in her arms. She lovingly looked at Cornelius.
“Minerva Belle May, welcome to the world.” They had decided on the name easily, since Athena was the goddess of wisdom in Greek Mythology, they were naming their daughter after her Roman Counterpart, Minerva. The Belle was added by Cornelius, after his own mother. They would call her MB for short.
After they had put her in bed, Cornelius and Athena lied together in bed. “I can’t believe we had a baby.”
Athena nodded in agreement. “Me neither. She’s so precious… I love her already. Even if she does take after you.”
They both laughed.
In the days before MB’s birth, the newlyweds had been spending every second together-
Dancing, for fun…
Skilling, for their careers…
And.. Other, newlywed stuff.
After a few days, it was time for their little girl’s birthday.
“Are you ready Cornelius? 500 Simoleons says she looks like you.”
Cornelius just smiled. “On with the tossing!”
Athena was right. Minerva Belle was the spitting image of her father, she looked exactly like him- this wasn’t a bad thing, she was undeniably precocious.
Once Athena got her changed, and did her hair, Minerva Belle was the most adorable toddler to be seen in Kodak.
Athena just loved spending time with her little girl.
“Don’t you worry baby. Mommy and Daddy both have wonderful jobs, and we’ll spend every cent we earn on you!”
Hopefully MB wouldn’t be *too* spoiled.
All in all, they were a happy family- Athena had just gotten hired as a Director for a Movie Company, they were making money, And incredibly happy.
MB was a happy child, her parents would leave her alone with her blocks for hours, and they would find her exactly as they left her. She had inherited most of Cornelius’s personality- she was incredibly active, outgoing, and mean.
Once the Hobby Clubs had been founded in Kodak, Athena had discovered her love for Literature. She would spend hours sitting on the couch reading Mystery Novels.
Cornelius, on the other hand, would watch movies. He had discovered his passion for Movies and would try to make Athena watch them with him.
Other than that, Cornelius would make the rounds with people needed for his career: Prof. Chandra was a professor who was going to get fired soon for having a relationship with a student, and she needed Legal Representation.
“I showed up early for work every day, I can’t believe they’re doing this to me.”
“But, you KNOW you aren’t supposed to get involved with Students.”
At this, Chandra faltered.
But, all things considered, life was good for the May’s. They were healthy, happy and, most importantly, rich. But would this happiness last forever? Stay Tuned to find out!

This update was ridiculously short, I know. But Athena and Cornelius just went to work while MB skilled. It was really boring. This update is actually supposed to be a ways behind the actual Crane Chapters, because I didn't get Freetime unitl April, and I'm still blogging about March... Either way, have some Outtakes:
The Film and Literature Diva Lady is really creepy- if you think about it all the FT Club leaders are.
I didn't have my Magic Clothing Rack by christianlov, so I couldn't fix this poor Nanny. She was actually competent, she fed MB and changed her, and then would go read for hours.
MB was MEANT to be a Knowledge Sim, look at her wants!

Wow, Minerva definitely takes after her father! She's the spitting image as an adult. I wonder if she likes money as much as they do?
It's so odd to see people so money-geared so pleasantville happy. But it isn't a bad thing. People with money need happiness, too. ;)

A competent nanny?! You're joking! I've watched my nanny step over a baby in a steaming diaper just to get to the fridge, then leave the food to rot lol
