Welcome back dear readers! I’m trying to update regularly while dealing with all this stuff piling up around me, sigh. But yay, I’m going to graduate in two weeks, and school is over Monday! I’m super excited! This leaves more time for Sims. *cough*
Last we left off, Charity and Othello, reigning Generation three couple, had finally achieved their dream of having ten children, three adopted and seven biological: Arthur, Athena, Arnaud, Dorian, Donovan, Douglas, Doris, Donato, Dorothy and Dorrigan. An obvious problem began to emerge when Charity and Othello realized that only 6 of their children were well-adjusted, the last two sets of twins each of having their own set of issues. Another problem was on the horizon as well when Dorothy, the ninth born child, and last girl, decided that she was going to be heiress- no matter what it took.

Charity drank up the medicine Cressida had prepared for her. She had been feeling weak earlier, and tired. She felt tired so often now. Raising then children can have that effect on you.

Just hours earlier she had skyrocketed to an ultimate state of happiness when she threw the Golden Anniversary Party she had always wanted. Except that Othello wanted a low key affair, so she only invited family. Othello usually felt like Charity was steamrolling his choices, so she made sure it was only their kids at the party. There were enough of them for a roof-raiser.

At the party, Charity pulled her son into a hug.
“Have you been keeping an eye on your brother?”
“Yea Mom, he’s fine. He got himself a nice girlfriend.”
“Really? Who is she?”
“I actually don’t know. It might be that professor lady.”
Charity smiled. While it was a tad wrong, she enjoyed making sure her children were well taken care of, nudging them into making the right spousal decision wasn’t bad parenting.
Or at least that’s what she told herself.

During the party, Dorothy and Dorrigan had finally transitioned into teenagers.
Dorothy had chosen the path of Knowledge, like her eldest biological brother, Dorian, the heir. She had decided to avoid him until she had a plan to remove him from his position as heir.
Dorrigan, on the other hand had chosen the path of Fortune, like Athena and Douglas. It suited his quietly studious nature, even with his repressed anger.

The two of them were inseparable, even with their problems. They studied together, and got lessons together.

Dorothy was a driven girl nonetheless. She actually sought out Cressida so that she could continue her lessons from when she was a child.
“Is there any specific reason why young Mistress Dorothy would like to learn as much as possible before heading off to the Institution of Higher Education?”
“Just teach me, Cress. I need this.”
Dorrigan knew that the only reason she wanted to maximize her skills before college was because Dorian had done it. Dorothy had a mean competitive streak, and a nasty streak as well. She enjoyed watching others fail, even if those were her own siblings.

Dorrigan, on the other hand, was all about making his mark on the family. Since no one noticed him, EVER, he decided that he would do something- anything, really, that would make him strand out from his siblings. So while Dorothy was competing with her older brother, Dorrigan was competing with his own ghosts of inferiority.

At SSU, someone wasn’t having as much trouble with making their mark. Arnaud Crane was racking up lovers left and right. He had perfected his technique after seducing Sage, and was now making it his mission to woo- and woohoo as many women as possible while in college. He knew the harsh realities of Legacy life, he was not only a spare, he was adopted. He had decided to take the awesome road and live Downtown forever, allowing his siblings to marry and age while he stayed in the Downtown scene, wooing as many young, unsuspecting co-eds as possible.

“Arnaud, you’re so charming!” Phoebe Halliwell giggled as they cuddled on his bed at Annya-Oresha-Var.
Arnaud just smiled at his latest conquest.
“Why don’t you and I get started on that fun I promised you?”
Arnaud was ever the smooth operator.
Phoebe just giggled again.
Truth be told, Arnaud was VERY smooth. Not only did he seduced Phoebe…

He seduced her older sister Prudence…

And her other sister Piper.
Arnaud was definitely a smooth operator.

Dorothy, other hand, was not being smooth at all. She had come to the Mausoleum seeking answers after Cressida told her about the ghost haunting that occurred there.
“Come out, come out wherever you are. And hurry too, I have no patience for silly parlor tricks like levitating lamps and bed haunting.”
Winnipeg was astounded. This girl was bold, brazen, and had the nerve to get fresh with her ancestors? Charity had obviously not bred well if she was allowing the girl to be so rude to the dead.

“YOU BETTER WATCH YOUR MANNERS SMART MOUTHED GIRL!”
Dorothy just giggled at the grandmothers outburst.
“Thanks, catch you later.”

The boost from seeing the ghost gave Dorothy the confidence she needed to finally achieve her dream of maximizing her skills.
“Now I’m even with Dorian. He has NOTHING that I don’t have.”

The next morning Dorothy waited outside of the door for her brother to finish his daily jog. Dorrigan was very meticulous like that, the same schedule every morning.

“Oh, its you.”
Though the statement was anything but friendly, Dorrigan still had a smile on his face. It was a testament to their odd relationship.

“Come here!”
Dorrigan sighed as he leaned in. He already knew where this was going. Dorothy had finally cooked up the plan she had been working on for their entire teen hood, and was now going to begin telling him about it.

“I finally know how I’m going to be heir!”

“But you can’t tell anyone!”

Dorrigan looked shocked for only a moment, before exploding once again.

“What is your problem Dorothy?! Why can’t you just accept that Dorian is the heir! He deserves it!”
“WHY? Because he was born first? Please! He and I are completely even on all counts, I deserve it more than he does!”

“I refuse to listen to all of this foolishness. Talk to me when your delusions wear off.”
Dorrigan began to walk away.

“Maybe you’re right, Dorrigan. Maybe I should just… give him time…”
Dorrigan was completely oblivious to the venomous tone of his sister’s words.

He pulled her into a tight hug.
“It’ll be okay. You can still get married and have kids. Or you can move downtown, like me. It will be alright, Dorothy.”
Dorothy just hugged her brother. She already had another plan, a much more discrete one.
That very day, Dorothy and Dorrigan left for SSU, and they soon arrived at the Knut House.

“Can you believe it? All ten of us Crane kids at college at the same time. How cool.”
Dorothy shot Donato a vile look. The siblings were already showing signs of discord amongst themselves.
Douglas ended up being the peacemaker as the only level headed one in the family.

The five Crane kids all posed: Douglas trying to be happy about being stuck with all his kid siblings, Dorothy just smiled inwardly, Dorrigan’s anger bubbled right through, Doris was being pretty as usual, and Donato looked silly, as was his style.
“Are we done here?”
Douglas looked at Donato. “Do you have somewhere to be?”
“Hell yes.”

With that, Donato zoomed outside. He had an attraction to Sage, and being the only female that wasn’t related to him in the house, he pounced.
“You know… for being a member of the undead, you sure are pretty… Why don‘t we have a little bit of fun upstairs?”

Some might say that Donato was the perfect example of the scumbag rich guy who thought he could get anything he wanted. They would be mostly right. Doris and Donato still retained their over entitled personalities from when they were younger.

Even with her being with Arnaud and all, Sage was a Pleasure Sim: anything for fun. Plus, she was doubly dead. She needed to feel… anything. When a guy thought she was beautiful, she was going to jump. Period.

In other places, other things were jumping.
“Arnaud, you may be young, but you learn quickly!”
Arnaud had been seeing another Romancer, and enjoyed the non-committal part of the relationship. Arnaud enjoyed everything he was learning and experiencing at college. He hoped that his younger siblings would have as much “fun” as he did.

College was going to be fun for many different reasons…
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Not many outtakes this time around. Just to clarify, all the kids did become vampires, but they are immediately cured at college, they spend NO time as vampires.
Except for Dorothy, she got bitten early because she kept getting scared by ghosts, so I wanted the need imperviousness that Vampires get.

Douglas did the weirdest things when I was curing him.

I eventually got tired of Sage's zombie personality. I wanted her to be... easier, so I did the old fashioned way, had Donato borrow a cowplant from the house...

But it was taking too long so I just let her melt in the sun.

"She's so sexy when she dies!"
Donato really did do that, sigh.

I reversed her personality one of awesomeness and magic.
Thats all for now folks, thanks for reading, please leave a comment here, on Boolprop, or LJ. Thanks so much for reading!

Sorry I haven't commented recently. Blogger is near-impossible to load fully on my subpar connection. I'm at my real home for a few days, so I have a broadband connection finally.
Geeze! Zombies, vampires, and death! Ohmy! It's everywhere. What is it with you and rampant killing? ;)
Arnaud is a love machine. Sheesh. Even zombies? Ewww! Your slang cracks me up every time. "getting fresh", LOL!
I was wondering where you'd gone. Nice to see you again! *waves*
I do not kill them on purpose... I kill them for the points, THEY CALL TO ME. LOL!
Yea, he is. You literally haven't even seen the half of it. To be honest, Donato is worse, he gets the sloppy seconds. (I had them seduce the same women.)
LOL @ getting fresh. I say it all the time, I was like "whut?" when you mentioned it. My "slang", lol. It must be our ~regional differences~.
Haha, regional differences? Where are you from? The one I've really never heard is 'what is this freshness?' LOL! That one does it for me everytime.
I'm from NY, born in Manhattan, raised in the Bronx. So, I have a bit of ghetto in me, even though I don't talk like them. (Its the "talking white", it gets me every time.)
As for the freshness, I have been saying that for like a year, LOL. I don't even really know why I say it, but it sure is fun. :D
(If you REALLY want to know what my voice sounds like, I have a youtube video up with my little cousin, but only if you want to see it.)
Haha, that would be fantastic! I have a good friend from NY, he lives on Staten Island, has all his life, but his family is originally Bermudian. His accent cracks me up, total new yorkah.
I actually am pretty benign. No real accent, I spent my life trying not to have one, lol.
I also spent a lot of time trying not to have one, but then I gave up. So whatever it is, I accept it.
Here's the link: http://youtube.com/watch?v=BXsKNxlb1BQ
Its really short, and I only talk for a little bit, but you can hear my voice. It also proves that I am indeed a boy, and a real person, and you can hear my horrible laugh at the end as well, so that's a plus.
Thats cool. I have a friend from Jamaica, but her accent totally dissipated upon contact with the ghetto.
CONGRATS!!!! Today should have been your last day YAY!! Hope you are having a great time now that you are FREE... for the summer anyway :D
Bronx, eh? No accent at all on the video :( lol
Ok, back to the post...
Charity is nudging people into appropriate marriages?! :(
I love Dorothy's hair and outfit and her plotting to become heir. Her personality is definately the most devious...being rude to the dead...I like her lol
Arnaud is a love machine, 3 sisters?! :O
"She's so sexy when she dies!" rofl
Thanks for reading Ann!
Yea, Dorothy is a real act. I love her to death, even if she is misunderstood. :)
I try not to have an accent, thanks! :)
YES I AM FREE NAO I AM ETERNALLY HAPPY :D :D
Arnaud is really fresh, you'll see even more from now on.
Donato is a riot too, he does weird things like that all the time. :)O
