Last we left off, Charity and Othello’s dreams were being realized. They had five children, three adopted and two biological: the serious and secretive Arthur, the demanding and forceful Athena, the fun loving Arnaud, the studious Dorian and the outgoing Donovan. Once Arthur left for college, Charity and Othello decided to try for more kids.
Lets begin. [Oh, and I know the “story” sucks, but its because, guys this was killing me. Having to get all these kids their scholarships was taking its toll: I wanted to get them done with no time to spare, remember, I play with no elixir, so time was of the essence. I decided to take as little pictures as possible- don’t worry it's only for a few more updates, and then I began trying. But I know, my writing style sucks.] I’m sorry. : (
As Othello returned from his job, he was hit with a wave of pride. Not only did he and his beautiful wife, now have five successful and wonderful children, he was getting job promotions left and right. He was happy, and so was Charity.
“That’s it Athena! We’re out of here.” Arnaud Crane stepped out of his carpool along with his older adopted sister. Even though they were adopted, they considered themselves closer than blood. It helped that Arnaud constantly annoyed his older sister on purpose.
“I know!”
Athena beamed. She was leaving, finally, and soon she would be on her own. She was grateful for her family, but she wanted to Earn $100,000 in her life, and sitting around wasn’t going to help.
After informing their parents, Athena and Arnaud left for college early that evening. Athena, ever the defiant girl, and Arnaud, nonchalantly strutting towards the taxi.
Once they arrived, it was as if a transformation took hold of Arnaud- he realized he could do whatever he wanted. Once he got to The Knut House, he immediately began practicing his romancing techniques on the resident Black Sheep, Sage Berumai.
She was unable to resist his uncontrollable animal prowess.
Soon enough, the Cranes found themselves settled at The Knut House. Once their first semester was over, they would move into the Greek House.
Their first semester passed uneventfully, Arnaud breezing by, and Athena busily collecting friends and studying.
Once they arrived at Annya-Oresha-Var, they were greeted by not only a maid, Arthur was there as well.
“ I pledged ages ago,” he explained.
Athena smiled at him, unaware that the Placeholder for the previous generation was watching her intently- his name was Cornelius May.
"Athena is very pretty", he thought.
Back at the house, old mistakes were surfacing, Xerxes Crane, alien-zombie-vampire cousin of the Crane heiress was haunting for the very first time. He had committed suicide to escape his life, then was revived, and then was burned to a crisp due to his mangled brain misunderstanding Cressida’s instructions.
Nonetheless, something BIG was happening at the Crane house.
“OW, THIS HURTS!”
Even though Charity had twins, she was still shocked by the pain coursing through her body.
“Just breathe Mistress Charity!” Cressida was ever the helpful robotic helper/friend in these situations.
Soon enough it was over, and Charity held a single baby boy in her arms.
“He is wonderful, mistress Charity! The spitting image of his father!”
Indeed. Douglas Crane had S4, Blond hair, and Brown eyes.
When Othello got home that night, he was ecstatic.
“Another boy! And he looks like me. Dorian and Donovan look a lot like you.”
[This is ridiculous! They look like BOTH of you because you both have face one. *twitch*]
“Want to get started on another?”
Charity just smiled.
In the meantime, Douglas grew into a toddler. He was indeed the spitting image of his father, but he took after the Cranes in personality- he was extremely serious, active, and outgoing.
Somehow, Charity had managed to get herself sick, so she was forced to drink a concoction Cressida made for her.
“Are you sure this will make me better?”
“Of course, mistress Charity.”
Thankfully Charity hadn’t inherited her father’s paranoia.
Dorian and Donovan, were, of course, still children. Dorian had gotten a new haircut and was very proud of it.
Meanwhile, Donovan found out that the last person to use the nursery was.. Pollination Technician.
The ghosts were still restless as well. Dorian was innocently blowing bubbles when the ghost of Prof. Dyaln, crazy drama professor, scared him.
“LITTLE KIDS SHOULNDT BLOW BUBBLES!”
“AHH!”
This incident fueled something in Dorian, and when his birthday rolled around he didn’t hesitate in choosing Knowledge. Donovan, however, chose Popularity.
“Dorian, son, this is Prof. Perdita. She teaches at SSU, where you’ll be going.”
Donovan gave his father a dirty look. “How come Dorian gets set up with the hot professor, and I don’t?”
Othello chuckled. "I'm sure you'll all find hot professors to meet, son."*
Nonetheless, the three men of the Crane Estate were very close.
This did not, however, help Charity in the least. The latest pregnancy had taken a toll on her, and she suspected it was twins. She passed out in random places often.
Apparently is runs in the family.
While his family members were passing out in random place, Donovan practiced his dancing.
“There’s a scholarship for it! And plus, dancing is cool! Everybody loves someone who can dance! Just think of the parties!”
Donovan was very excitable when it came to parties.
The next day, the labor part was gone through startlingly quickly, and soon Charity and Othello had two new babies in their arms.
“A girl! What shall you name her mistress Charity?”
“Doris. She’s older. And the boy is Donato.”
Othello nodded.
Later, Dorian and Donovan finally reached the top of their teen career, the slacker career. As a knowledge Sim, he wanted to spend as much time as possible skill building.
The boys then hurried inside, to watch Douglas transition. He was now a child, even more serious than when he was a toddler. He preferred to play chess over everything else, and barely ever spoke to his parents.
Elsewhere in the neighborhood, someone was getting attention, but of a different kind than the one Douglas needed.
“Come on Arnaud…” Mia practically purred. She had been in desperate need of some lovin’, and had called up the Gypsy to set her up. It definitely was a match, they had undeniably powerful chemistry.
Within minutes, after talking for a short while, Mia and Arnaud were locked in a powerful embrace-
Among other things.
But not everyone was having the time of their lives. Donovan stared at the pool table in the darkness. He was practicing non-stop for numerous days just to get the scholarship- sometimes he just wanted to be a normal teenager, like everyone else.
The next morning, Charity found Douglas reading in the living room. “Oh honey, come here.”
She pulled him into a powerful hug. “I love you, Doug. It might seem like we don’t, but we do. I love you so much, my beautiful son.”
Douglas left to school with a rare smile on his face.
Outside the manor, other smiles were being created. “Hey, what are you doing here?” Xander and Xenophilius did live together, but they still visited the house they were born in occasionally.
“You came to visit Charity too?” Xeno couldn’t control his laughter.
“Sure did! Heard she had a whole bunch of children, had to come see them!”
The brothers continued reminiscing before coming inside and visiting Charity.
Speaking of her children, one of them was having kind of a hard time.
“Now that I’m a really good liar, no one will ever know what I’m really thinking.”
[Unfortunately, Dorian got a little more than that. He was stuck electrified FOR LKE THREE DAYS. I made him shower, sleep everything, and he remained sparking. He must be a really bad liar then. SIGH.]
"What? Is there something on my face?"
In between shocking activities, Doris and Donato, the current youngest twins grew into adorable toddlers.
Donovan was excellent with the children, he enjoyed helping his busy and growing parents. They liked to pretend they were still in their youthful years, but Donovan was worried about his mother having any more children. She had eight already, why did she need more?
On the other side of the house, Dorian finally managed to maximize all of his skills. He still couldn’t figure out how to stop sparking though.
“Now that my other studies are finished, I can focus on my scholarships.”
Dorian had indeed been overly focused on acquiring as many skills as possible, but he still needed to get all of the necessary scholarships for college. This included dance and pool, of course.
In the nursery, Charity and Othello were having a moment with their youngest children.
“We’re old, Othello. I have a week until my transition, can we have another baby? Much less two?”
Othello smiled at his wife. “We have to try, Charity, This is our dream.”
Charity snuggled her daughter, only two girls and six boys. She always laughed at those numbers.
After they left, Doris had a frightening experience of her own. The ghost of her great grandfather had decided to take residence inside of her favorite bear. A traumatizing experience, to say the least.
That night, Charity and Othello snuggled together. Their kids were healthy and growing, Dorian and Donovan had even left for college earlier.
“So, do you want to try-”
“Do you even have to ask?”
And with a tinkle of a lullaby, we fade away...

I know, abrupt and random, but honestly, they are just pictures of the accomplishments at this point. It gets better, Trust me!
*- This statement is hilarious. Not to spoil anything, but 4/7 of the biological kids end up with professors. Think of it as foreshadowing. :P
The kids were worked really hard- all they did was skill and go to school. For their needs, I would have them energize- if their bar slipped into gold, I would have them SimVac Cressida to get back into Platinum and then that was that. Harsh, I know, but whatever.
As for the scholarships, around this time Bitsy came up with a new strategy that I just had to have- vamping the teenagers for another half a point in scholarships. It was deliciously simple- I had Arnuad seduce Sage, go home, introduce her to Cressida, have Cressida become friends with her. introduce her to Dorian, have Dorian become friends with her- and then BAM! I have the pics, let me rant about Arnaud for a sec-
I want the point bonus for having all Seven Platinum graves on the lot, and I need romance- so I found it awesome that Arnaud rolled romance. I wanted him to get his Impossible Want (30 Lovers, eep!) and get his platinum grave, so essentially, he would be co-heir, except without the reproducing part. It was originally supposed to be Dorian and Arnaud as heirs, but... glitches got in the way. As for the playing, playing romance Sims is fun- I would never have one as heir, but they are a fun little diversion. You'll see Arnaud (and later another Crane family member) seduce many a co-ed in college. Fun times! Only a couple of updates left before I'm all caught up, ~yay~!
Now for the vamp! pics: The only reason I didn't use them was because they wouldn't have fit into the story. How was I going to explain having all seven biological Cranes become vampires before going to college?
"Hey Sage, you know I maxed Creativity? Its shocking, right?"
"You look interesting, boy..."
"Ew, keep your nasty germs off of me!"
Cressida was the one influencing Sage to bite the boys.
"You look... interesting as well..."
"Ugh, what do you think this is? Do I have to call Chris Hansen on you?"
"Don't listen to him, Sage, we're cool."
"Cool as ice. Or dead zombie vampire flesh."
His expression is priceless.
"BLEH!"
It worked. $11,000 in scholarships- boo ya!
"AHHH! I'm not supposed to be scared, I'm already dead! Twice over!"
"oooh, pretty lights..."

Awww, Xerxes is gone I missed the post in which he died, ummm twice lol, but I'm caught up. Poor guy :( Charity and Othello's wedding was sweet, they are a cute couple and all those kids...yikes!

Electric Dorian was a hoot, he must be a terrible liar and this: "Arnaud constantly annoyed his older sister on purpose" cracked me up. Arnaud must have taken lessons from my little bro.

No, I cure them as soon as I get to college. The only true vamps are Sage, The Counts/Contessa's and some other lady, a randomly generated townie who got vamped by me accidentally. :P
I know right?! He was sparking for like a day, it was so annoying.
